Effects of Variable Punch Speed and Blank Holder Force in Warm Superplastic Deep Drawing Process

A cylindrical deep drawing test was conducted for the purpose of improving drawability, product accuracy, and quality in warm using a superplastic material with large strain rate dependence. Then, effects blank holding force (BHF) punch speed (SPD) on flange wrinkle behavior wall thickness distribution were investigated by experiments theoretical analysis. Zn-22Al-0.5Cu-0.01Mg alloy SPZ2 sheet 1 mm employed as experimental material, experiment ratio (DR) 3.1 5 performed at 250 °C. good agreement qualitatively obtained between elementary theory limit, fracture results. In addition, authors examined each variable BHF SPD method from experimentally demonstrated that has great effect uniform shortening processing time materials. Furthermore, effectiveness BHF/SPD varies both simultaneously.
